Helping you achieve your highest level of health and function is our goal at Ohio State’s Rehabilitation Services. Our team sets personalized goals for each patient and creates a treatment plan unique to your needs.
As we strive to provide you with the best possible care, Ohio State’s Rehabilitation Services measures key indicators that show our patients’ satisfaction and level of improvement with their condition or disease. We measure patients’ progress in both the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation care settings.
Inpatient measures are compared to national standards, such as the discharge to home rate (when you leave Dodd Hall to either a home or community setting) and Functional Independence Measures (FIM). FIM evaluate improvement in activities of daily living, such as self care, mobility and communication. Outpatient measures range from patient satisfaction to the number of visits by injury or condition.
