Visiting Hours

For the comfort of our patients, only two visitors are permitted at any one time (exceptions are outlined below). Talk with the charge nurse in your unit if you would like to have additional visitors. All visitors must be free of illness. In areas where overnight visitors are allowed, visitors must wear an identification badge at all times.

 

Dodd Hall Rehabilitation Services
Visitation is 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

OSUCCC–James
Visiting hours are 24 hours a day, seven days a week. OSUCCC–James permits only two visitors per patient at a time unless special arrangements have been made with the nurse manager of the unit. Overnight visitation is limited to one visitor per patient from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. All overnight visitors must be approved by the nurse manager on the unit.

Visiting hours for the Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit on the third floor of OSUCCC–James are 10:30 am.-8:30 p.m. daily. 

Children 12 years of age and younger may visit patient in their room (with the permission of nursing staff) or in the family waiting room on each floor. Children under 12 generally may not visit patient rooms on the Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit on the third floor.

OSU Harding Hospital

  • Adult Unit (3rd floor) and Older Adult Unit (2nd floor)
    Monday-Friday: 6:30 p.m.-8  p.m.
    Saturday/Sunday/Holidays: 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m.
  • Child & Adolescent Unit (4th floor)
    Monday-Friday: 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
    Saturday/Sunday/Holidays: 2 p.m.-5 p.m. and 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Ross Heart Hospital
Visitation is 24 hours a day in most areas of the hospital, but please check with the staff in the patient care unit to confirm the policy for that area. From 10 p.m.-5 a.m., patients are limited to one visitor. Intensive Care Unit hours vary, so please check with unit staff.

Children are able to visit when accompanied and properly supervised by a non-patient adult at all times. The child is considered one of the two patient visitors. Children may visit the Intensive Care Unit patients by checking with staff first.

University Hospital
