If CPE application is emailed, the application fee must be mailed to the CPE Program Manager and received before the application will be considered complete for review.
Residency Program Information:
Residency applications may be submitted beginning November 15; interviews are typically scheduled beginning in January and will continue until all five positions are filled. Applicants must also fill out an online job application; information will be given about that process once the CPE application is received. The CPE Supervisors review all applications and make determination about extending invitations for interview. Applicants for the Residency Program are required to have an on-site interview. Once accepted, a few weeks prior to CPE program start date, residents must come to the Medical Center for a security screening/background check, pre-employment physical, TB test and ID badge photo. Background check must be cleared satisfactorily or resident will not be able to join the CPE residency program.
Summer CPE Program Information:
An on-site interview will be expected for the Level I Summer CPE Program. If distance prevents an on-site interview, the applicant can arrange an interview by a local ACPE-certified CPE Supervisor and can submit that CPE Supervisor’s written admission interview report with the application. Once accepted, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to hold the student’s place. This deposit, plus the $25 application fee, will be deducted from the student’s total tuition balance of $600.00. The remaining balance of $475 will be due the first day of the program. Accepted students must come to the Medical Center 8 weeks prior to start date for a security screening/background check, TB test and ID badge photo. Background check must be cleared satisfactorily or student will not be enrolled in the CPE program.
