Staff Awards
Nancy Corson was awarded the 2006 Cameo of Caring Award recognizing outstanding bedside nurses who treat patients and families with care, dignity and compassion, while demonstrating excellence in nursing practice. Five staff members have been recognized with Clinical Excellence Awards: Mary Beth Hankins, Marge Evans, Renee O'Carroll, Michelle Reynolds and Lynn DeMange, and one with the Excellence in Patient Care Award: Linda Knox. 2006 Staff Appreciation Awards were presented to eight staff members: Abdul Sesay, Janet Schaper, Charlaine Menedian, Ellen Mottola, Kevin Welsh, Dave Jones, Bill Sheppard and Julie Calestro-McDonald.

JCAHO
During the 2002 JCAHO survey, the OSU Harding inpatient units and the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program did extremely well. The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program received a perfect score—the first one given by their surveyor in 10 years!

Ohio Department of Mental Health
OSU Harding is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health to operate a psychiatric facility.

Dr. A. Robert Davies Unity and Excellence Award
Sponsored by the Harding-Evans Foundation and Friends of Harding

The Dr. A. Robert Davies Unity and Excellence Award recognizes a staff member for outstanding accomplishments. Dr. Davies was the chair of the joint committee during the OSU & Harding merger in 1999. He made an outstanding contribution to help "bridge together" psychiatric services at Ohio State and Harding Hospital.

The award is given with a $5,000 check for the recipient.
