The Ohio State University Medical Center’s Bariatric Surgery Program consists of physicians/surgeons, nurses, dietitians and psychologists, which are among the most experienced in evaluating and counseling patients to prepare them for this life-changing, life-saving procedure and help ensure long-term success. Furthermore, our surgeons were the first in central Ohio to use a minimally invasive approach for gastric bypass surgery and the first in Ohio to perform laparoscopic gastric banding, and are therefore the most experienced.
