Feeling good and leading a healthy lifestyle go hand in hand.  Living Well is the complete wellness program and total health approach to weight management.  More and more research is pointing towards lifestyle as the key ingredient in the determination of overall health. 

Our comprehensive six-month program focuses on weight loss and good nutrition, stress management, and exercise to help you feel better, prevent chronic conditions such as heart disease or diabetes and/or prevent complications associated with chronic conditions.

The Living Well program includes:

  • An Initial Wellness Consultation
  • A medically supervised reduced-calorie meal plan, which enables the participant to lose weight safely
  • Option to participate in the HMR supplement program
  • Weekly education classes in the areas of nutrition, stress management, behavior change and exercise
  • Weekly guidance and medical monitoring by the health care professionals correlating with specific meal plan option
  • Fitness evaluations at weeks 1, 12 and 24
  • Food/exercise journals reviewed weekly
  • Optional unlimited use of the Center for Wellness and Prevention exercise facility with exercise programming specific to individual needs while in the Living Well program.  Options may include Body Recall, low impact aerobics, Yoga, weight training, and/or the aerobic training equipment
  • Exercise equipment orientation or home exercise program
  • One on one education as needed related to each person’s specific needs such as meeting with a dietitian, behaviorist or exercise physiologist
