Physical Rehabilitation

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is a medical specialty that involves the process of restoring function for a person who has been disabled as a result of a disease, disorder, or injury. The Ohio State University Medical Center's rehabilitation program – the first in Ohio – is nationally recognized in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation research and treatment. We’re dedicated to helping individuals live their lives to the fullest despite disabilities caused by trauma, illness, congenital deficits and disease. Ohio State is ranked among the top 10 for rehabilitation by U.S. News & World Report. Most of our inpatient rehabilitation programs are located in Dodd Hall on the OSU Medical Center campus.
