Ted Blubaugh believes that to treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, postural imbalance must first be addressed. Once the body is returned to a functionally neutral position, the pain a person is experiencing can be addressed more successfully using skills tailored to his or her needs.

Dr. Chun is a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Grandominico specializes in conservative treatment and management of back, neck pain, headaches and musculoskeletal conditions and works closely with family, occupational and sports medicine physicians and alternative medicine specialists to facilitate the best possible care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, Dr. Kurpita studied at the China Medical University of Taiwan in the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she focused on herbal medicine. Denise Londergan is an integrative nutritionist/registered dietitian whose clinical interests focus on individualized nutrition therapy and facilitating health promotion classes. She specializes in tailored nutrition counseling related to integrated whole foods approach for balanced and optimal health, diet-related health conditions, mindful-intuitive eating, food sensitivities and digestive health.

Caitlin Merriman, LMT

Specialty: Massage Therapy


Caitlin Merriman graduated from Ohio College of Massotherapy, where she earned her Associate of Applied Sciences in Massotherapy. In addition, she earned 64.5 hours in “Precision Neuromuscular Therapy” and 40 hours in “Myofascial Release Therapy.” She continued her education by attending Earle Timberlake’s seminars, which shaped the technique she uses today. Caitlin was promoted to lead massage therapist at the OSU Integrative Medicine Clinic, where she combines her passion for patient care and office
management. In November of 2013, Caitlin completed 24 hours of “Massage for People Living with Cancer” to help create a standard for the future Oncology Massage programs at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.

Dr. Sharma is nationally and internationally known for his accomplishments in Ayurveda, a comprehensive, multi-strategy, prevention-oriented system of health care. He has been practicing Ayurveda at OSU Integrative Medicine since its inception in 2005, and has conducted extensive research on the various modalities of Ayurveda. Dr. Sharma has published more than 150 research papers, authored over 300 abstracts and presentations, and written five books. He has lectured and presented his research worldwide at various medical institutions and conferences, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the World Health Organization (WHO). Dr. Sharma is a member of various national and international professional societies. He is Professor Emeritus and former Director of the Division of Cancer Prevention and Natural Products Research at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Sharma's practice focuses on Ayurveda. He also teaches Spontaneous Meditation and Pranayama (breathing exercises).

Melinda Skipper, CNP

After graduation, Melinda Skipper completed a critical care fellowship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, where she worked as an emergency room staff nurse. In 2007, Melinda changed her focus to acute and preventive care and earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Wright State University. After nearly 12 years as an emergency room nurse, Melinda joined Ohio State’s Department of Family Medicine.

Melinda has a great interest incorporating exercise, nutrition, stress management and supplements into the traditional care of her patients.

David Wang had his formal medical education and training in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine in China. He is a board certified acupuncturist in Ohio and is clinical assistant professor at Ohio State. He served as dean of Oriental Medicine at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus from 2001 to 2005, where he designed and established the first professional master’s level acupuncture program in Ohio. He is the co-founder and past president of the Ohio Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Zhang has training and experience in both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine. Her career has included the practice of medicine, medical education and medical research. She has taught and lectured extensively on traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture. She has also published numerous articles, books and research studies.
