Maps and directions to the Ross Heart Hospital

The Ohio State University Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital provides state-of-the-art facilities for heart and vascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, open-heart surgery, cardiovascular imaging, vascular interventions and electrophysiology.

Since opening in 2004, healthcare professionals from more than 17 countries have visited the Ross to pick up skills to strengthen their own cardiovascular program. In June of 2008, Ross Heart Hospital expanded from 90 to 150 inpatient beds, with every patient cared for in private, universal patient rooms, a model which is increasingly emulated across the country. These technologically advanced rooms provide better patient care and comfort by allowing the care team to deliver the appropriate services to the patients’ rooms, minimizing the need for patient transportation and allowing patients to remain in the same room throughout their hospital stay.

Each floor of the newly expanded Ross Heart Hospital is dedicated to a specific service, ensuring specialized, personalized care for each patient. Housing these services in a single building facilitates collaboration and teamwork among disciplines.
