Patients with a variety of lung disorders — including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, cystic fibrosis and sarcoidosis — can benefit from our multidisciplinary program. Patients who have lung volume reduction surgery (LVRS) also must participate in pulmonary rehabilitation before and after surgery. Satellite hospital rehab facilities are available for LVRS participants who don’t live in the Columbus area.
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is at the Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza, 2050 Kenny Road. Philip Diaz, MD, staffs the program, which is certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Our dedicated and experienced team also includes nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, respiratory therapists and physical and occupational therapists.
