Dr. Hundley is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist with a practice that focuses on the treatment of female pelvic disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and complex anatomic abnormalities including fistulas and diverticula. He uses robotics to perform the sacral colpopexy, the gold-standard treatment for severe pelvic organ prolapse, to be performed in a minimally- invasive fashion rather than through a larger laparotomy incision. This provides benefit to patients in terms of less blood loss during surgery, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery with less post-operative pain.

Patient Outcomes

Average operative time: 358 min
Conversion to open surgery: 17%
Reoperation rate (30 days): 0%
Average blood loss: 3 ounces (85 ml)
Transfusion rate: 0%
Hospital discharge day after surgery/or avg length of stay: 1.5 days
This excludes patients converted to an open procedure and one patient with a 15-day hospital stay secondary to complication unrelated to the surgical approach.
