Clinical Interests: General Gynecology to include uterine fibroids, bleeding, ovarian cysts and tumors, endometriosis, BRCA 1 and 2 patients, and risk-reducing total robotic hysterectomies and BSO for prevention of ovarian cancer.
Dr. Michael Blumenfeld, Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics, is the director of the Division of General Gynecology and Obstetrics as well as clinical director of the Center for Women’s Health at Ohio State. He has an interest in minimally-invasive gynecological surgery and is active in gynecology, gynecological ultrasound and minimally-invasive surgery. He was trained on the da Vinci® system in 2006 and is currently active in performing minimally-invasive robotic surgery.
