Volunteering

Services

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Talbot Hall. Between 50 and 55 volunteers donate about 400 hours each month speaking to patients and family groups, facilitating group discussions, giving hope to new patients in the hospital, and helping with various clerical duties.

Most volunteers are recovering addicts or family members with invaluable personal experiences to share with those struggling with their own addictions. It is a great message of hope for patients to hear many times daily from people in all walks of life, about their own recovery process.
