Additional Treatment Programs at Talbot Hall

Adult Education Substance Awareness Program (AESAP)
A specially designed, six-hour education program for persons who misuse alcohol and/or other drugs who would benefit from an interactive and personal education program. Cost is $250; lunch is provided. Meets from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Fridays at Talbot Hall. Admission for AESAP is by referral. Reports on client participation, including recommendations, are provided for follow-up purposes. For more information, call Talbot Hall at 614-257-3106 weekdays.

Women’s Intensive Outpatient Track
This three-hour intensive outpatient program meets three times each week and brings female patients together with a specialized therapist to deal with issues specific to them, including learning about empowerment, self-esteem, relationships and recovery tools.

Opiate Treatment Track
For those recovering from narcotic pain medication or heroin addiction there is a weekly opiate recovery session that can be integrated as a part of a patient’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

Family Services
Many opportunities are available for family members to learn about the disease of addiction, how the illness affects the chemically dependent person and the impact that person’s behaviors have on all family members and family systems. The program also supports the family as the patient re-enters his or her home environment. See Family Services for more information.

Continuing Care
Patients completing Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) are offered continuing care group sessions for one year free of charge.Continuing care groups meet for 90 minutes once a week.
