Accreditation

Talbot Hall has treated more than 50,000 patients over three decades with a variety of inpatient and outpatient services designed to meet the individual needs of each patient.

ODADAS
In order to remain accredited, centers such as Talbot Hall must pass an Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS) on-site evaluation every three years. Talbot Hall was last reaccredited by ODADAS in September 2004.

“The outstanding results of the last ODADAS survey reflect the commitment of Talbot Hall staff to provide excellent, compassionate care to patients dealing with addictions,” says Karen Mlawsky, executive director of University Hospital East. “OSU Addiction Medicine is a valuable resource for our community.”

JCAHO
Talbot Hall is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). JCAHO is an independent organization that sets standards for quality health care, then evaluates an organization's performance against these standards.
