Steven Kalbfleisch, MD, FACC, is a cardiologist, professor of clinical medicine and medical director of cardiac electrophysiology at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.
Dr. Kalbfleisch earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. He also completed his residency and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and cardiovascular electrophysiology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Kalbfleisch has authored numerous abstracts and peer-reviewed journal articles. He is also a frequent presenter on cardiovascular research and technology.
Dr. Kalbfleisch is a member of several professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society and the American Medical Association. His specialty interest is in electrophysiology, and his research focuses on the clinical application of ablation therapy to treating cardiac arrhythmias.
