Albert Kolibash Jr., MD, FACC, is a cardiologist and an associate professor of medicine at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Kolibash was named one of America’s Best Doctors in 2009.
Dr. Kolibash earned his medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. He completed his residency and a fellowship in cardiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Kolibash has published more than 100 abstracts, articles and book chapters, as well as given multiple presentations on various cardiology topics. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of several professional organizations, such as the American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Kolibash’s clinical interests include coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, pericardial disease and hypertension. His research focuses on mitral valve prolapse, chronic mitral regurgitation and ischemic heart disease.
