Garrie Haas, MD, FACC, is a professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is also the section director of heart failure and transplant, as well as medical director of heart failure. Dr. Haas holds the directorship of the Cardiovascular Clinical Trial Research Organization (CCTRO).
Dr. Haas earned his medical degree from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and completed his residency at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Haas also completed fellowships in cardiology and heart failure/cardiac transplantation at Ohio State’s College of Medicine.
Dr. Haas’s articles and abstracts have been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and he is a frequent presenter on the topics of acute and chronic heart failure management. Dr. Haas’s research interests include heart failure and hemodynamic monitoring, heart failure disease management and cardiomyopathy.
