At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. SCHAMESS is the best doctor I have ever had. When I have a concern about any health issue, he responds quickly and thoroughly. A year ag, if he had not ordered an additional test when I had a concern about my lungs, I would not have learned that I had cancer. He shares medicinal and practical approaches to dealing with the issues of aging. 3 of my family members are his patients and if he had space, I would ask him to take more. He is excellent. Caring, professional, a really good human being with indepth knowledge and commitment to his patients. He should get an award. His commitment to those in need is consistent and real.
