I love being a general obstetrician/gynecologist because I’m passionate about women's health throughout the life span. From puberty to childbearing to the menopausal transition, quality of life is so closely tied to education and health. Caring for women who are navigating these transitions is a privilege to me.
I believe that the best medical care results from a physician/patient relationship that is based on knowledge, communication and compassion.
Working as part of the Ohio State faculty is a wonderful combination of many things. It brings together the best of medical student and resident education, cutting-edge medical care and a diverse patient population. The result is a culture of excellence that makes work enjoyable and full of variety.
When I'm not working at Ohio State, I like to enjoy the outdoors, read and relax with my family — especially taking time to play with my kids.
