Crane Family Donates $10 million for New Sports Medicine Facility
We are pleased to announce the gift of $10 million from the Crane family, pending the official approval by the Board of Trustees on Friday, April 5.
The Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute at The Ohio State University will provide expanded space for OSU Sports Medicine’s collaborative, innovative programs of health care, education, training and medical research.
Bringing more than 15 interdisciplinary specialties under one roof, the facility will include multiple clinical/surgical suites and a research lab, making it the largest, most comprehensive sports medicine facility in the country. With a square footage of 140,000, the Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute will accommodate the rapidly growing field of sports medicine.
