The Dirty Duathlon
May 19 at 8 a.m.
Alum Creek State Park
Get muddy and dirty at the 2013 Greenswell Dirty Duathlon. The runs take place on the muddy and obstacle-laden Winter Hawk Bridle trail that winds along the wooded area at the northern part of Alum Creek Reservoir. This will not be your normal duathlon run, course includes multiple stream crossings, log jumps, roots and rocks and muddy sections that will bring you out of your shoes.
Choose from two distances:
Dirty Short: 2 mile trail run + 12 mile bike + 2 mile trail run
Dirty Du (long): 2 mile trail run + 22 mile bike + 6.2 mile trail run

Family friendly event where youth can team up with former and current Buckeyes for a one-mile, fun, heart healthy run!

Tri Fit Challenge - Triathlon
June 30
Antrim Park
Join Ohio State’s Ross Heart Hospital at the Tri Fit Challenge, a triathlon event with the goal of ending heart disease, June 30, 2013. The Tri Fit Challenge starts in the water at Antrim Park and ends on foot in Ohio Stadium. Proceeds benefit patient care at Ohio State's Ross Heart Hospital and life-saving research at Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute.
Participants can choose from three triathlon lengths, and compete as individuals or in a relay teams of two or three.
Tri: .25 mile swim + 12 mile bike + 2 mile run
Fit: .45 mile swim + 12 mile bike + 5K run
Challenge: .90 mile swim + 24 mile bike + 10K run
