As a pharmacist at OSU Medical Center, you will be involved in developing and administering pharmaceutical systems that provide consummate patient safety and care. Our pharmacists play an integral role in the selection of medications, patient counseling and evaluation, and consultation with physicians and nurses in solving medication problems. You'll work with investigational protocols and play a supporting role in research and developing criteria for medication use. There are many opportunities for pharmacists to exhibit and use advanced knowledge and training in such areas as oncology and cardiovascular and pain management. Ongoing educational opportunities are readily available as well, both in the pharmacy field and in other disciplines.
