Dodd Hall, OSU Medical Center's inpatient rehabilitation facility, consistently ranks among the top rehabilitation programs in the country according to U.S. News & World Report. Interdisciplinary care teams are dedicated to achieving the highest levels of functional independence, productivity and quality of life for persons who have disabilities resulting from trauma, neurological illness, congenital deficits or disease. As a rehabilitation nurse you will work with physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, patient care resource managers, psychologists and speech pathologists in developing and implementing individualized plans of care to meet each patient's specific needs. Patients are admitted from throughout the country to participate in our accredited programs in brain injury, spinal cord injury and stroke rehabilitation. With an emphasis on patient and family education and specialized services, such as driver's education, support groups and an independent living apartment, Dodd Hall is a nationally recognized facility. |
