The Neurosciences' clinical program encompasses: Neuro-Oncology/Skull Base, Spine/Spine Trauma, Stroke/Cerebrovascular, Neuromuscular/Multiple Sclerosis, Neurodegenerative Disorders/Dementia, and Neuromodulation including Movement Disorders/Epilepsy and Neuro-Psychiatric Disorders. Clinical and basic research crosses all disease states within our Neurosciences Program. Clinical research occurs in the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, Dardinger Lab for Neuro-Oncology and Neuroscience Research, and Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery. Basic research is performed in the Neurobiology of Disease Institute, Center for Molecular Neurobiology and Department of Neurosciences. Currently, fellowships are offered in Neurophysiology, and residency programs in Neurology and Neurosurgery. In addition to medical student rotations in Neurology and Neurosurgery, graduate education is offered in the Department of Neurosciences and the Center for Molecular Neurobiology. The Ohio State University Medical Center’s Neurosciences Program is dedicated to advancing patient care, research and education of neurosciences conditions. Our Neurosciences Program includes Neurology, Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Otolaryngology and Psychiatry. Neurosciences faculty work closely in conjunction with the Cancer and Imaging Signature Programs.
