Hi! I always enjoy sharing good news. It’s something I try to do at the start of every meeting, through this blog, and now on Twitter. It’s important that we share the remarkable things we’re accomplishing every day at the Medical Center.

To keep you up to date on our good news, we’ve added two new features to the home page of OneSource. You can now read a compilation of good news from the previous month, as well as excerpts from the letters of grateful patients.

No matter what your role is at the Medical Center, it’s uplifting to see how we improve people’s lives, and how thankful our patients are for your hard work. I encourage you to visit these features on OneSource and to share the good news you find there.

I want to close by reading just a portion of a letter I recently received from a patient who was treated in our burn center. He wrote:

From the moment I was admitted, I was very scared and very much afraid of what lay before me…But everyone who came into contact with me was absolutely outstanding in their care.

I have spent most of my life working for a company that values customer service and care above all else…Please believe me when I tell you this, the the Ohio State University Burn Center takes customer service and customer care to another level.

On behalf of this patient, and all the patients you care for, thank you for what you do. You make the Medical Center a very special place. Well, have a great week.
