All figures are at-cost and calculated in accordance with the Catholic Health Associations Guidelines, a nationally recognized standard for community benefit reporting.
Total does not include a Medicare shortfall of $38,398,629 per Catholic Health Association Guidelines.
Benefits provided to the city, region and state by OSUMC include the cost of providing nonreimbursed care, trauma services, education and support groups. In addition, training future generations of physicians, physician-scientists and allied health professionals, and supporting innovative basic science and clinical research greatly enriches the central Ohio community as a whole.
