Serving our Community

The Ohio State University Medical Center has a long tradition of serving everyone in our community regardless of race, age, faith or ability to pay. In fiscal year 2006, Ohio State's Medical Center contributed more than $100 million in charity care and benefits to the community. These benefits include the cost of providing non-reimbursed care, trauma services, education and support groups. Also included is funding to train future generations of physicians, physician-scientists and allied health professionals, and funding to conduct innovative research.
