Ohio State’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of only 40 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States, and The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute is one of only a few hospitals in the Midwest dedicated solely to cancer care.
A national and international leader in research that translates to high-quality patient care and education programs, the OSU cancer program has been addressing all aspects of cancer care — prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation since 1976.
Seven closely collaborating research programs have experienced tremendous success and continue to show promise for the future: cancer control, experimental therapeutics, immunology, molecular biology and cancer genetics, molecular carcinogenesis and chemoprevention, pediatric oncology and viral oncogenesis.
